Track 3 is designed for those who have been involved in metering for several years and have a firm knowledge of polyphase meters. The emphasis for this course is on polyphase and advanced metering applications, instrument transformer language and basic theory, understanding rating factors, and troubleshooting instrument transformers. Students will be assigned meter projects that will challenge their knowledge and skills in designing metering schemes and the proper sizing of meter installations. The metering projects are designed to incorporate information learned in the session curriculum.8
